Continuing through the shoot i needed to catch a good texture,to create a better tone when edited. However I found that this angle of the tree looked far more intriguing with a slightly more closer shot to capture the roots of the aged tree.

TEXTURE

In this image I wanted to capture the puzzling growths of this mature tree. I close do take it from a portrait view as you can see the multiply growths. I shoot this on shutter speed - 1/1000 , ISO - 3200 , aperture - F3.5. I wanted to still have the sharpness but as the angle was different I had to change the aperture.
This relates to my influence because within the huge spectume of Epping Forest there are aged tress, which Beth Moon like to showcase in her photography.
When editng this photo I wanted to make it more richer in the earthy tones of nature, to inhanse the texture though out. All of the green leaves held by the inperfect twigs give the image a contrast against the dark tree tunk. Also this image shows a repersentation of line thoughout the bark. The visual language is growth; the tunk is a repetition of being strong and always growing though time, i see the growths as patches of healing and progression.

TONE

I have chosen tone as you are able to see the mood and depth within the roots of the tree. By editing the image on Photoshop I added a tonal filter to give a sinister look to this close up shot. I think by darkening the filter it adds more depth to the tones, to gov more of a gripping effect when viewing the image.
I took this with a D90 on a shutter of 1/1000 , ISO - 3200 & aperture - F4.5. Using this these settings I was able to captured such a crisp image but will a blurred depth which adds framing for the main subject.
This relates to my inpirsion of Beth Moon as I've captured the rustic looking roots, I like how there are so intertwining in to the thickness of the tunk. For me this a expression of strength, to blossom to beauty, roots are the foundation of growth.

My overall evaluation of the images of Tone & Texture, is that I'm pleased with my outcomes as I felt I achived the right composition as i wanted to capture the unusual aspects of nature.
Texture - My orginal ideas are a representation of my mood board and plans made pervious as I wanted my shoot to show natural forms in the autumn age. Using photoshop I increased the satuation to get a richer image.Beth moon captures some of the most unique shoots of nature forms which helped me to look for the enchanting aspects within nature.
Next time I would possibly do my editing different, to create an abstract effect which would add a complete new element.

Tone
I choose this elemets as I like the mood added to the picture , I did this though adding a tonal filter and using adjustments to inhance the darker and light shades to add a mood of purity as I wanted to enhance the content. My plan for the element of tone was originally going to be a decaying tree, however still sticking with the natural forms theme, I captured this intriguing roots, this compares with my influences, Beth Moon for her enchanting photography , also Edward Weston inspired me to use a tonal to increase the depths of tone within my own images. To evolve from this i would make more of a contrast, to create a different feel and visual laungue.

My main stengths though-out would be my eye of texture and detailed images. My weakness is my editing, i want to gain a greater knowledge and experience with that, to make my images even more detailed in all aspects.
