Drew and Lola are two lovers who are seniors in high school. One night in Drew's car, he broke up with her because he felt they were moving to fast. She got out of the car and never came back. Weeks went by, and everyone accused Drew of murdering Lola. Turns out, she was kidnapped, by a man who is supposedly her father. He was a man who had kidnapped girls that looked like Lola and forced them to be his daughter and if they didn't fit the personality he killed them. Lola was killed after the first day. You might be wondering who the other girl is that Drew thought was Lola and is tracking down, and that is Madison. Madison had no memory because she was being drugged, until she found a corpse in the woods. Flashbacks of her friends, family, and who this man really is, Wayne Boone. Wayne had caught Madison, aka Mary (as Wayne would call each of his victims) and took her to the basement of his cabin. Drew and his friends had thought that Lola was in the cabin, but Drew had to go alone up the mountain to find "Lola", and that's when he saw Madison in Lola's one of a kind jacket. Drew ran, and that's when he saw Madison, and Wayne. Drew and Madison fought for their lives. After Drew's head was split open, Madison ran upstairs after learning Wayne tried to blow up the house with them in it. Wayne left drew, and started fighting Madison. She was a national softball player and ended up killing Wayne. Flash forward, Madison meets Drew again and they talk. That is when Drew learns that Lola would have died either way because Wayne tracks his victims. Drew sat there on her birthday by the dock and cried, wishing her a happy birthday in heaven.

My mystery is a kidnapping mystery involving children.

Suspects:

Mary Boones dad (who isn't her real dad, and that's not even her name)

Drew (Lola Scott's boyfriend)

So in this book, the whole reason Drew, Lola's best friend, and Lola's best friends boyfriend went out searching for her is because Autumn's (Lola's best friend) dad was a police officer in their small town didn't put any effort into finding her after he accused drew of killing her. The true detective in the mystery is Drew and Autumn. They came up with all the plans, no matter how crazy, and Drew is the whole reason Madison is alive, and the whole reason Lola is dead even though he did not kill her.

In my book, we didn't get much from Lola, really nothing at all. She didn't talk once, nor was she in any scenes, only flashbacks. From what I know, she was a chipper person. I think that she was scared for the future, but she knew she didn't have to do it alone because she had Drew. Lola was an intelligent girl with short brown hair to her shoulders, button nose, and green eyes with freckles all over her face, and that's another reason Wayne went after her. She was happy a lot, and was so excited to live a long life with Drew.

Since we don't know a lot about her, it is hard to determine her spiritual life but from what I can tell, she seems at peace with herself and that's a sign of God's works. She wasn't scared of death, even though she was doomed to die the next day without knowing. As drew would say, she lived every day to the fullest, no matter how dull the clouds may be. Lola seemed pretty on the inside and out and I think that is God's doing.

We are not sure if she sinned or not due to the fact she wasn't hardly in the book but it is obvious she had sinned before but none that I can put words to.

Lola was introverted, but she also loved her friends. She had a loud personality and loved to laugh. Drew always saw her as perfect and so did her friends. Lola did not respond in anger that night Drew broke up with her, just confusion and tears. She didn't want to make others mad or sad and that shows a lot about her.

Solomon 8:7 "Many waters cannot quench love; neither can the floods drown it,"

I saw this whenever drew said on page 67, "I can't stop staring at Lola's empty desk. It feels like a black whole,"

For me, this verse and this quote connect because love in God's eyes is patient, and ever lasting. Drew loves Lola, and would even die for her (he almost did die trying to find her). Every time the word Lola gets brought up, he fights the urge to do it all by himself and find her and keep her in his arms forever. He loves her to the ends and back of the earth. I think that is just beautiful. He never stopped, not even for a second. He hardly slept, hardly ate, and never looked back and cared about what others thought. No one could stop him from discovering the truth, no flood, nor fire could ever stop him, and that is the most beautiful kind of love.
