because we just wanted other groups to lose, we missed the goal of gaining some money
Trust develop and broke?
when we have a common goal with the other groups of making one specific group lose, we start to trust each other. But the second when one group is betrayed, everyone start to doubt each other.

When such opportunity presents itself, the first thought that came to mind was that not only are we aiming to maximise profit, but the alternative idea was to minimise losses. I feel like with the intention of profiting, it is hard to build trust. Although we attempted to trust each other, I think the self interest of each group undermined the trust in between the groups. If I wanted to apply this to real world situations, it seems that when the stakes are higher, people are more likely betray rather then work together. Everyone wants to be the only winner, and no one wants to be the loser. However, there was a flaw in the game.
