as most of you all know, i am a model united nations (MUN) addict! the intense nature and (albeit rare but fun) yelling matches are what makes it so exhilarating. my first mun (EOSMUNC KL'24) in IGB international school was also the first mun i received an award, which was the most improved delegate. even if i've only been to two face-to-face councils, i'm certain that this will stay with me for a long, long time.

i enjoy a plethora of music, ranging from jazz to hyperpop! but a few of my favourite songs and artists are:

hobby number 3 : go-karting or racing

besides all those other well-known hobbies of mine, i've also delved into free-karting and racing championships! like basketball, they offer lots of adrenaline and allow me to test my hand-to-eye coordination. some of the racing series i've participated (some twice at once) in are:

-> petaling jaya 4 hours of karting

-> raceroom 2 hours of sebring (online)

-> ifr-malaysia formula renault league (online, champion [2021], 2nd [2022], regional constructor's champion [2023])

-> ifr asia wrt tournament (online, 2nd place [2022] )

hobby number 4 : cycling

as many f2 melewarians should know, i was (and still am) an avid cyclist! from the tops of the astaka to the descent along the middle road between the male and female dorms, i have basically ridden a bike everywhere. which should be ironic, considering i only started riding and learning the bike properly when we first cycled in seremban.

but i persist, and cycling has been, if not, one of my favourite sports and hobbies that i master at.

my education is pretty well laid out after secondary, if i say so myself. i'd be studying civil law at the harvard law school until a doctorate in philosophy (PhD), and from there it's gonna go to being a lawyer! but of course, there's always a plan B.

it would really be either the national university of singapore's (NUS) sharia law study under the center of asian learning studies (FL-CALS, yes, i actually looked for it) or the international islamic university of malaysia's (IIUM), all in law.

i live laugh love politics. it's basically my non-hobby hobby. i'd do anything to get involved in it too (well not really anything, but you get the gist of it.) and that's why it's my ambition! after serving a few years in the judicial scene, i plan to change my field to politics, maybe starting off as a member of a state legislative assembly (ADUN) or a member of parliament (MP). from there, i'd either try to climb to ministership or the prime minister altogether.

will you stay is an english-language novel written by norhafsah hamid, a local author. it's in romance, which makes it very worthwhile. if anyone were to practice their english or delve into the islamic romance books, this would be a perfect start.

today, we had the the long awaited raya celebration! we went to bangi riding a bus from 8 o'clock until maybe half past 9. it probably took an hour or so, since the details were blurry. but all things aside, i'm glad to have gotten the chance to celebrate with my most cherished friends (the political ones, of course.) we ate a lot of good food, like, a LOT of food. we also got the chance to see a lot of performances to see too. those performances were planned and executed by students, ranging from the level 2's until our juniors in foundation 1. heck, even we didn't send a group act for our batch.

this was one of the MUNs that were in the timespan of this project. it happened from 6-9th june at the university of nottingham (malaysia campus) and it was fun! i met a lot of good friends (who i will meet and talk about in my TLMUN journal, stay tuned 🤫) and debated a whole lot, maybe the most i've ever said during an MUN. we sent two delegations; of russia (the one that won most of the awards) and south korea (mine!) it was also the first MUN where i became the head of delegates (HOD) too! all in all, it was a fun and exciting learning experience. it was tiring too, having been the first 4-day MUN i've ever been too.

i think every muslim on this planet would agree that going onto hajj would be on their bucket list. this place has its own aura that entices people to come within its reach, and makes people cry and weep in front of the first house of god built by abraham (AS.) i would love to be part of the slim minority of muslims that is fortunate and well-off enough to be able to do hajj more than once, if not just once would be sufficient.
