Janie was born deaf and because of that, there have been number of obstacles shes had to overcome, but despite her situation she remains one of the happiest people I know. She always remains positive and uses her "disability" to her advantage, overall she has taught me that things we see as a disability or as an obstacle can always be used to our advantage. Poetry workshops are great because it's a group of people in one room writing the same prompt from so many different perspectives. We work on pieces we plan to slam on, which is an event that happens in Charlotte once a month where you go and recite your pieces and compete with other poets. Honesty because in order to properly get a task done you can't sugar coat someone progress. Integrity because even when you think no one's watching they are, you lead by example so be the example. Problem solving skills is important to understand your followers and their issues and how to deal with them in an appropriate manner.
