         <title>Making Decisions Assignment</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) I never realized the massive amount of decisions I would make in a day! I am sure that most people are not aware of the number of decisions they would make in a day, probably because there are many that they don't care about how many they make.<br>2) I did not know how numerous choices can lead to regret. It is usually best to pick one item out of many, but there will always be something else that will possibly be better than the one chosen. On the bright side, as time flies, one can always go back to get something different from the previously purchased item.  <br>3) I did not realize how the Decoy Effect can affect decision-making. All it takes is one item of slightly different qualities from the others just to speed up (or alter) decision-making.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To provide an example, I am riding a roller coaster which is ascending to the peak. During the <strong>alarm reaction</strong>, my heart rate increases and my breathing gets heavier. These can also be symptoms of high-altitude sickness, according to the text. I enter the <strong>stage of resistance</strong> when I get off of the ride; I'm shaken up by the thrill and my heart rate slowly goes back to normal, but I don't get too comfortable because I might get on another roller coaster. Finally, after experiencing the thrill of numerous roller coasters, I would enter the<strong> stage of exhaustion</strong>, where all of my energy would be drained out and my body would enter into an exhausted, aching, and fatigued state.</div>]]></description>
