-Personal Mindset-  I am personally an organized note taker.  Straying away from traditional note taking with numbers, letters, and Roman Numerals is difficult sometimes.  It is important for me to adapt my mindset in understanding that students need to have notes that make sense to them.
-Student Accountability-  Majority of students can copy down symbols (letters) from the board.  As teachers, we need to hold students accountable for understanding the information, not just copying it.  It is important to have frequent checks for understanding throughout the process.
