Or, anyone who is interested in new technology.
6) Conventions: interactive visuals on a giant screen, speaker introducing and explaining to the audience, slideshow, must be introducing a new product, usually delivered in a dark room in front of a large audience
7) Time needed: the actual creation of the technology being unveiled varies, but it is usually years. To make a power point should only take a few hours, but to organize the event must take months. To set up a venue, invite people or sell tickets, make sure the speaker can attend, and to set up a camera crew/someone to broadcast it requires a lot of resources. Years of work go into each event.

Having a full month allows one to think of a unique concept, write a script, collect costumes/props, actors, find funds, and hire a willing camera crew.
