I consider myself an artist in many capacities, not just on the acting side. I started doing youtube videos around middle school but I was quite shy when I was younger. I think the making of youtube videos and a youtube channel gave me an outlet to express my creative processes and ideas that I had. As I entered high school I got cast in a school production of The Greatest Showman for a Winter Fest event that we had going on. With no real training or experience, I got cast as the lead who is played by Hugh Jackman in the movie. This unlocked something I had a passion for, pretty soon I was enrolled in a theater school called Proart, where I learned how to act, sing, dance, and tap dance. This was my foundation as an artist and following this, I got many opportunities that I learned a lot from. Getting cast in Subete a mi Moto was the first film experience that looked very attractive on my resume and allowed me to get more opportunities. Then as time went on I would just learn from experience and get cast in plays and such. This made me an artist and moving away from home to the US gave me perspective on who I am. Being away from home and my roots have helped me define myself as a person and an artist, Really embracing the differences that seemed normal back home.
