Map data is used when we take the map test. It helps with initial things like intervention and grouping students. After some time, I think other data takes more precedence in driving decisions.

IABs should be given at teacher discretion as a tool, not a standardized scheduled test that takes a tremendous amount of time.

I think these tests really help me remind and keep the students motivated, specifically when it comes to their academic grows and growth.

I think for Math, its' a good indicator of how well the students are doing for that specific domain.

Use MAP data to determine which student will be intervention , and which student will be in tutoring session.

MAP test is used to assess students in the beginning of the school year. This data allows me to create seating arrangements and select potential student candidates for intervention group. The winter and spring MAP data is used to determine whether the students have made progress or not since the beginning of the school. I print out individual score reports for students and families to look at. Students have the chance to reflect and make personal goals.

IAB is a crucial data for me because I can determine whether each students have mastered the content skills or not. The percentages of students who exceed or met standards allows me plan my instruction and select appropriate strategies for the next upcoming math unit.

IAB and frequency can be overwhelming for both students and teachers. I think students could find more relevance by using them as test prep and understanding the functionalities - 6th grade

I use MAP data to assess and explain students' academic performance during their IEPs. This data allows me to make informed decisions about the specific areas where each student requires additional support or enrichment.

In the RSP support class, I leverage MAP data to guide targeted instruction, tailoring lessons based on individual student recommendations and performance.

I use this testing period to have students reflect on their study skills, test taking strategies, and practice mindfulness. I also use it to promote motivation for academic growth. I also use scores to compare with data I have already to see who may need interventions.

I think we should use the IABs as tools rather than deadlines. I think they can be helpful when prepping for the SBAC, but the deadlines seem necessary, and just another obstacle that we have to overcome. We need more autonomy as teachers when prepping for the SBAC.
