We can talk to them nicely and give them scenarios. We can ask them to put ourselves in the disabled shoes and ask them how they would feel if they were to be discriminated. I also can tell my family members and friends to spread the word of not discriminating others who are disabled.

Last time when I was in the bus, I witnessed a young man, about 20 years old helped an old disabled lady on a wheelchair get up the wheelchair ramp, get some space to rest on the bus and even conversed with the lady

Diversity consists of people with disabilities. People with disabilities have a hard time so we as a community or student can help them if we see them or if not have a chat.
Everyone has their own point of view and their own opinions and we should respect them, even if we disagree, we could politely disagree and say why. “Never judge a book by its cover”

I have seen an old lady, really old, like in the nineties something like that. She dropped her bag of apples. The old lady struggled to bend down and picked up. Then a young man come over to help her pick it up.

In kindergarten, our childcare would visit those elders and some are disabled. We would go and accompany them and play games, share stories with them. During events such as National Day, we would also go to there to celebrate with them.

In the bus, when the bus driver sees someone who is disabled, he will take the initiative to lower the ramp for the disabled and help them to tap their bus card. He also welcomed them up the bus and brought a smile to their face.

I think others should be more aware about them and help them if needed. Also we can chat with them to understand the challenges that the face .

I once saw someone helping a elderly lady who had a lot of grocery bags, she seemed like she was having a hard time and someone came up to her to help her. He carried the bags to her car and the elderly lady was very grateful.
