This diagram is important to add because if you look in depth you can see the possible outcomes that could've happened. Adam had the choice to turn left to the cafeteria or right to the 1st grade classroom.
https://abcnews.go.com/US/fullpage/newtown-ct-shooting-timeline-sandy-hook-elementary-school-18014080

Jesse Lewis is sufficient to me because although he was scared, he was extremely brave. While Adam Lanza was reloading his gun, Jesse told other students to run. 6 students ran and are still alive today. Sadly Jesse got shot in the head and died instantly. https://jesselewismemorialfund.wordpress.com/eulogy/

Adam Lanza is responsible for the 27 lives he took on December 14,2012 at Sandy Hook elementary. During his lifetime, he struggled in school due to having Aspergers syndrome. He was socially awkward and described as deeply troubled. He had a deep love for guns and destruction. His days mainly consisted of going to the shooting range and playing violet video games. Overtime he worsened and his mother Nancy couldn't help him anymore. His motive is unclear why he decided to kill 27 innocent people.

I have a very hard time trying to connect this to my life or even thinking about this tragedy happening to me or people I love. The only thing that comes close is thinking about me myself going through this. Another thought that I don't have to deal with for awhile, but someday my children going to school. It is all very scary to think about ,because this is something that doesn't cross my mind very often since school is supposed to be considered a safe place.

What I learned in the book

I learned many things in this book from Adams childhood to the second he died. This book broke down every little detail there was. It started off explaining when Nancy Lanza noticed her sons behavior, what she tried to do to help him, and what is day consisted of from 1-20 years old. This was very hard to read due to how well written it is and how touchy the subject is. Although it was very hard to read, being informed on everything that happened was very interesting.
