I am a biology teacher at Avni AKYOL Fine Arts High School. My primary goal is to make young people nature-loving and environmentally conscious individuals.
With our little plants that we grow at school with my students, we understand the importance of the nutrients that nature offers us.
When we consume a plant as a sprout, the nutritional value we obtain is quite high. With the arrival of spring, we will enjoy the plants we grow in our school garden.

I am an English teacher at Semiha Şakir Anatolian High School.My primary goal is to raise self-confident, efficient and environmentally conscious European citizens through youth projects. Improving communication skills, reinforcing language use ,strengthening teamwork and supporting the use of web 2.0 tools are also among my teaching goals.

The challenges posed by our environmental problems may seem overwhelming. The effects of these problems have shown up at regional and global scales, and the prospect of overcoming the differences between countries, between factions within countries, and even between individuals seems insurmountable at times. But I strongly believe that if we, as teachers work to raise awareness among our students it could change our world by actions of individuals and local communities.

I work as an English teacher at Silivri Girl Anatolian Religious High School. I hope that my students who are new to eTwinning will get acquainted with this wonderful world and work collaboratively. In this project, my students and I want to learn what we can do for a better world with sustainable energy resources and set an example by showing our work to other people.

M. Cevahir Akbaş (b. 1985, Istanbul) lives and works in Istanbul. In his artworks, he aims to reveal certain situations carved in his memory with today's narrative language, by forcing technological possibilities and by making use of other disciplines, while at the same time keeping the causality principle alive.
