I lived in Chicago my whole life, and  my parents decided five months in advance that we were moving to Texas. In those five months,  I enjoyed more of being with my friends and the city than I have before.

Once spring break started, I was planning on hanging out with them more, but then covid began to spread. My parents wouldn't let me go out of the house because they felt it was too dangerous.
