         <title>Children learn through social proximity and interactions with others, which is influenced by their own social and cultural contexts. Learning occurs in the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), where students are able to learn something that they could not do independently with scaffolding and support from a More Knowledgeable Other. This extends a child from their Zone of Actual Development (ZAD) to the ZPD where learning occurs.</title>
