My Summer

My summer was filled to the brim with all sorts of fun adventures: There was always something going on.

For starters me and my entire dad’s side of the family go to a cabin every single year and this year was one of the best years yet. We went fishing, swimming and many more different activities on the water. Then after one week we left, but just one week later most of the family went to an island in Lake Superior called Madeline island where many more fun adventures took place. I ended up cliff jumping from about 25 feet above the water and we went to the beach. Only after a week it was already time to leave and time to begin the wait for next summer break.

As of recently I’ve been listening to more and more music and with this I’ve found many different artists and their different styles of songs, but by far my favorite artist is Kid Cudi and especially this song Up Up & Away is my favorite of his. The way the beat just uplifts you and makes you feel like you can’t fall and his lyrics talking about telling not to care what people say but to just keep going because there’s going to people that judge you is a really powerful message.

What is Going Well?

Snowboarding. The season hasn’t started yet but snowboarding has impacted so much of my life. It gives me a time where I can just let go and have fun speeding down a hill. I’ve only been going for two years now, but it’s been some of the best years of my life. Especially since it gives a lot of time where I can connect with my family with the chairlift rides being so long. I can’t wait for the many more years to come.

Through out my 16 years of being alive I’ve had a lot of different experiences. I’ve always lived in Minnesota with my family. My family consists of my mom, dad, brother, and sister.

I’ve also made lots of friends within these 16 years. Some of there names are Ben, Jacob, and Sebastian. The pandemic made these relations break up a bit but once it was over they were better than ever.

I used a picture of a mountain as my background for my padlet because snowboarding is one of the most important things of my life. It gives me so much joy that most other activities can’t give.
