In this image, one can see a person surrounded by surveillance cameras. This correlates to Peter Singer’s essay because the essay talks about the loss of privacy and how society has given it up. The cameras in this image can also stand for the technology that “have made it easy to collect, store, and disseminate data on individuals, corporations, and even the government” (Singer 354).

The image below shows different people with social media platforms. It connects to Singer's article because people are willing to share their whereabouts to others online. These actions make it hard for us to have privacy because we are willing to give away our information or location. It make it easy for the government or police to know our whereabouts.

There was a picture I found on google that showed FaceBook stealing someone’s information, as there was a cyber attack back in 2019. This relates back to Singer’s essay as he discusses the security flaws that technology has. How putting your trust into an app can end up being sold on a website. This FaceBook attack just proves his point because we never know who we are giving our information to, even if it is a social media everyone has.

The image shown is from a popular tv show, based on honesty and authenticity under the scrutiny of public opinion. Like Singer mentions in his article, when people believe they're being watched they're more likely to do acts of kindness or generosity. The show almost always sets up its scenarios in a public setting, with the subject of the show always having others watching for their reaction, almost coaxing the targeted bystander to step in and do the right thing. The show, in turn, softly fabricates the narrative; the bystander's of course going to step in, other people are watching.

This photo shows cameras everywhere and how they are constantly in our lives. This picture relates to Singers essay because he talks a lot about how in our workplace or really and public place we are being recorded in some shape or form.He then explains how this can be used against us because we have no privacy and nothing we do is in secret.

This image shows how invested in social media we really are, and how it takes away from reality. The connection I made is that we are so detached from the real world that we will share our personal and private information online with no hesitation, and without realizing that we probably wouldn't like it if someone had that information and used it against us in some way.

After reading Singers essay in bits and pieces I decided to chose this image of a city. Each building represents the overload of technology use. This relates to singers perspective because as each year goes by technology use increases. Singer suggests that technology follows us and surrounds our daily lives. I believe this image emphasizes his point.
