Speed is very slow now but the CARNet promise us a new connection via optical cables soon and 100Mb/s.
There are two different networks, one academic and one just for management. We also have wi-fi for whole school and all classrooms. And they took care of it for about a year. Now me and school janitor are responsible for proper work and use of wifi. Wifi is used only by teachers, not by pupils. We use it for desktop computers in every classroom that we need in teaching process. We have small range access points in hallways. Network is devided in several parts and each have its own password.
