I think 5th grade has alot of PE, although more PE would be fun. It just would cut into our Recess and our learning time. The learning time is more valuable than the PE time. Also, the school is fully scheduled a certain way, so if we extend recess, it will throw the schedule off.

Yes we have approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of pe time each week. That is alot because during fun Friday, we get burnout after 30 minutes

We have 1 hour and 30 minutes of PE time each week. 1 hour a day will burn us out, and we will miss our recess. ( 45 + 15 = 60) 60 minutes is an hour.

Exactly what I was looking for! We get to move our bodies everyday and in the classroom with our new additions. The treadmill and the peddle. We get two recesses, one lunch, and lots of breaks each day!

That was a good argument it's just that every Friday we get Friday Fitness, which gives us preparation for middle school which in PE, you run laps and play new sports.

Alright im going to be honest, most of people on the "more PE" side want to just not be in class. I understand but when we get home, we usually get home and not go outside for a little while unless we have activities after school. So All in All, the people on the other side want to waste more time. (IMO)

Good argument but, the school is put to a certain schedule and if we overlap our recess with PE, we are not getting the standard requirement for Recess. It will also throw us off. ( With learning time, Lunch ext)

One thing that I've noticed, is that the team that wants more PE has more athletic people. Adriana and Aaliyah have been on all the sport teams here and Emilio was/is on the boys basketball team. I also know that Shonray can play basketball very well and that Adam is a wall ball extremist. However, the team that wants less PE is less athletic (besides Nia). This could play a pivotal role in their choices and groups.

I disagree with Nia, I think Mr.Tresa usually explains the games pretty clearly. Also, most of the games we have played are from last year, and we have already been introduced to them.

I disagree with Anu, Genevieve, and NIA because Mr Trussa talks for like years before we actually start a game so extra PE time would be great because then we would still have time after he's done talking about the game. Nia you talk when MR. Trussa talks so that's why you don't understand what the game is.

Well the problem is that, the reschedules are on early release weeks are different schedules. Like I said earlier, most teachers try to rush things through on different schedules. For ex, (Math is at 12:40) on a early release, it may be at 10:30

I feel as though some of the kids on the less P.E. side do play sports. To be fair, some kids eat during recess, which means they don't meet their daily requirements, either. Genevieve, Jaya M, and Nia play Sports.

Good point, but different people have different styles, talents, likings, disliking, ext. So I think if they do not want to do sports, that is completely fine because it suits them on how they like their lifestyle. For the people who are in athletic activities are going to want more PE because it suits them on how they live their lifestyle or how their opinion is on the educational system itself.
