What Costa Rica's transportation system is like?
It is a system with a lot of traffic at rush hour, mainly in the GAM. In rural areas the traffic is quite low. most people travel by bus or with their own vehicle.

The country has a number of vehicles on the road. In Costa Rica there are many companies that provide regular bus service, connecting San José with the rest of the country and various communities with each other.
The taxi service is carried out by cooperatives. Taxis are distinguished by being red, with the exception of airport taxis.
However, the conditions of the buses that connect smaller areas do not have the appropriate conditions for transport users. There are shortcomings in the transportation system at the country level, poor and obsolete infrastructure, lacking in equality. The buses are cheap and there are almost each hour, the taxis sometimes are expensive and the service aren't very good and there's train but only in the GAM

The transportation system in Costa Rica is still in development, it has buses, cars, trains, bicycles (we have a few cycle paths in the metropolitan area). The transportation system in Costa Rica its not great, though the train is great, the paths for buses and in general transportation is really slow and tiring. Hope they improve in the future since a big part of us can't really afford vehicles.

R/ Our transportation system is diverse, we have a bus, a train, a taxi, a bikeway, etc. It's less expensive than in another coutries for this reason it is accessible to the people. Depending on the day and time, this can be faster or slower.

It would be a good option to opt for electric buses (because they are the more used vehicles in the country) and to invest in mordenize transport in other ways. Anyway, it is important to mention that in terms of coverage it is a very good system because most of the areas can communicate with each other

The problem is that the bus system in Costa Rica is not the best, because of many reasons, for example, the standard fare is always going up, it can be dangerous, the buses are malfunctioning all the time and they are full of people.

And if you think about it, this specific way of transporting people should be the safest, because there are a lot of lifes on the line.

The transportation system in Costa Rica is a very contaminated system in which there are plenty of cars all around. But it also has some great economic ways of transportation for the commuters. There are also bus companies that don't have a good service. Throughout the country, taxis are a good option to get to a nearby place since it is faster and cheaper.

Transportation System in Costa Rica:
The bus service is different depending on the place, in places like the GAM there are many buses and the service is quite good, but in rural places the service is more limited.
The taxi services is very bad, because they are very expensive and depending on which driver they don´t offer the service so the people use Uber or similar services.
