3. Misty Copeland is a well-known principal ballerina, and serves as a symbol of hope for dancers of a minority group. I think it will be interesting to read her story and understand her life and the obstacles she overcame to prosper in her career.
4. I hope to be inspired by the book and learn how important perseverance is. The text I will be reading is called “When Breath becomes AIr”

I have a copy of this book at home 

What I find intriguing is that a neurosurgeon gets diagnosed with brain cancer, he continues his work and through this book I get to learn about self-discovery and what it is like for a successful person to be stripped of the potential he has because of a diagnosis. 

How did he find peace? What was it like getting treatment from colleagues? Did having a work relation help the process feel more comfortable? How was continuing work when fighting that diagnosis. I hope to learn more about what it is like to be suddenly diagnosed with something so I can increase my empathy for a unfortunate life event that someone has to go through that I have not experienced. I also hope to learn more about medical fields and the cases he has encountered.
