The author could prove this because in paragraph 2 it states that "Educators need to respect students' right to free speech". In paragraph 5 it also states that " Respecting students' opinions on censorship will empower students and allow school yearbooks to be the treasure they deserve to have to be." The Author also expresses that in paragraph 3 "School authorities also need to consider how much students can learn when they express themselves freely."  This shows that Authorities should let students express themselves freely.

Everyone need to be reminded that the First Amendment of the Constitution protects freedom of expression.” This shows that the author’s point of view is that the authorities do not have a right to remove what students feel that has to be in their yearbook. 
           Overall, in the text “Say No to Censorship”, the author expresses his point that authorities should not censor students’ yearbooks. There is proof that the author is right. Students deserve the treasure of the yearbooks. Also, authorities do not have a right to remove what students feel that has to be in their yearbook.
