They were also having them work crazy amount of hours on their school days so they were exhausted but now they are only allowed to work 3 hours on any school day. With adults with them there is less of a possibility of a child getting injured or taken. It shows me that while the industrial revolution was thriving the child working inside of it were struggling and thought that working was more important then school.
