This week we will cover induction to the course and CARE.

We will look at everyone's starting point and learn how to saw.

At the end of todays session you will have designed and made some wooden disks. You will have then decorated these with your own personal goals which you would like to achieve by the end of the course.

One group also tested the moisture level in the soil - great work everyone.

Results showed that CARE soil in wildlife pool area and allotment was slightly acidic and main garden showed neutral -so great results for growing. There are lots of natural additives we can use to improve/change the PH of our soil too - your worksheet has lots of suggestions you may like to try at home.
