On the English day event we activated a game-based activity with grade 5 and 6 to do a grammar enrichment and we named the activity “XO to the grammar“. There are 6 groups and each group has to choose 3 different girls to play XO 3 times. After each game, the next step is to hurry and take a question from the basket and answer it with their group. The content of the questions is related to their first unit of their books and pronouns (I chose to include pronouns too to enrich students and strengthen them for the action research i do for EDUC517 with my colleague Reem). Finally, Igave points to the winners in XO and those who answered the questions correctly (separately)! And those who gained more points won and eventually everyone got a prize 💗!

I participated in the practical education exhibition with my colleagues Amna, Reem, and Mazoon. Our section was called “Technology,“ where we showed the visitors the apps and websites that we have used throughout our journey of training in schools. I used these Punch Cards for my students to encourage them to answer in the class. At the beginning of the semester, I promised the students to give them gifts and those who had 20 punches in their cards will get an extra prize.
