         <description><![CDATA[<div>As a Paraprofessional I have personally seen the powers that parents with children that have disabilities have with shaping education. I have learned so much with working with children and helping come up with solutions to better assist children that don't have what they need to achieve success in the classroom. I have worked with children that need little assistance and some that need lots of assistance. The parents that bring their children to school want the same success for their children as everyone else. We have the resources to make this happen with different coaches and programs to meet the individual needs of our students. Open communication and collaboration is important with both the teachers and the parents to best see what that child personally needs and how we can best make it a successful year.  There are many ways that parents have had a positive effect on special education and we are continually learning new ways to better assist students. New Ideas and concepts are a way for us to grow and adapt our teaching to benefit all students. </div>]]></description>
