I think the standards per trimester are manageable and do not differ much from what we were already doing. Overall, I appreciate the organization of both maps and find them very helpful! Thank you! I missed the last meeting because I had another meeting so I am assuming the pink highlights in the writing area is what we will be accessing that trimester. I think all three writing standards should be taught throughout the year. However, they should not all be assessed each trimester since we are just introducing and laying the foundation for each standard.
