An Eventful Day
It was 7am on a peaceful Monday Morning as I walked to the bus stop to wait for my school bus. Suddenly, I heard a loud bang. I had just witnessed an accident near the traffic light junction near my bus stop. A lorry had collided into a Comfort Taxi. The both vehicles skidded and screeched to a halt. The traffic was disrupted because of the accident. Many onlookers rushed over to help. It was a bloody scene as the taxi driver was badly injured. Soon, the Police and SCDF had arrived at the accident spot to cordon off the area and take down details of the accident. An ambulance also arrived and Paramedics pulled out a stretcher to bring the victim to a nearby hospital. The taxi driver was breathless.
