For Zimmermann, culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts.

People from many countries in the world came to Brazil at the same time to see the games and get to know our country. This was an opportunity for both brazilians and foreigners to get to learn a lot about culture. Brazilians are known for beeing loud loyal fans, and most of the athletes from abroad appreciate that. The Olympics atmosphere offers an exchange of knowledge and experiences between different people that enriches peoples' lives and the way we think. That’s why events like that, that unite a lot of foreigners at the same place for the same reason are truly importante for the globalized world and to understand diferences.

Is the world becoming more intolerant and than tolerant people are trying to figure out what’s going on with these people? Or that was because people are becoming more conscious about the lack of equality between women and men in society and are trying to understand things like “rape culture” or “male chauvinista culture”?
