Then, one of our usrah member added some sharing that relate with this topic. There is 3 things in ilmu which is not benefits at all. First, witchcrafts. Second, knowledge that neglects the students. Last, religious knowledge that is not practised.

We, as a muslim need to improve our every intentions before starts our day because with a good intentions we can get Allah's blessing through the day insyaAllah.

"yes yessss pleaseeee!!"

So, Saidina Umar RA said, when our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW was sitting in a group with his beloved sahabats then a man wearing a very white attire and his hair's colour very black came and sat in front of Rasulullah SAW. His knees met Rasulullah SAW knees and he put his hand on Rasulullah's thigh. Then, he ask Rasulullah SAW to explain about islam. Then Rasulullah replied, "Islam is when you testify there is no god but Allah and Muhammad SAW is the messenger of Allah, establish prayer, pay zakat, fast in the month of Ramadan and perform Hajj to Baitullah if able." Then the man said,"you're right". All of them was feeling wondered. e is the one who asks and he is the one who allows it. Then he asked again: "Tell me about Faith".

The Prophet replied, "Faith is, you believe in God; His angels; His books; His Messengers; the Last Day, and believe in God's destiny of good and bad," he said, "You are right." He asked again: "Tell me about ihsan". The Prophet SAW replied, "You should worship God as if you were seeing Him. Even if you don't see Him, surely He sees you." The man said again: "Tell me when the Doomsday will happen?" The Prophet replied, "The one who is asked does not know more than the one who asks." He asked again: "Tell me about the signs!" The Prophet replied, "If a female slave has given birth to her master; if you see people with bare feet, without clothes and goatherds competing with each other in erecting magnificent buildings that rise high."

Then the man immediately left. I was also silent, until the Prophet asked me: "O, Umar! Do you know who asked earlier?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know better," He said, "He is Jibril who teaches you about your religion."

We continue with the importance of Islamic pillars :-

1. strengthen the relationship with Allah

2. strengthen human relationships

Besides that, Sr Zulaikha also shared a story about the advantages of people who seek knowledge. Can you imagine there 3 people with different situation. 3 of them were arrived at a mosque and there was a talk from an ustaz. One of them was walked away because there was a lot of people in the mosque. The second person entered the mosque and sat in the back row while the last person entered the mosque and found a place to seat in front of row.

Based on the story above, we can see someone that is very care about knowledge and really pursue it and also someone who do not care about the importance of knowledge and the importance of being in knowledge council.

So, what can I conclude about our usrah today is our attitudes determines the knowledge we accuire. Those who know about the wisdom of seeking knowledge will surely pursue all the oppurtinities available. Furthermore, in the Prophet SAW's hadis also mention about the importance of being present in the council of knowledge. It is because a lot of Allah's angel will pray for their forgiveness and last but not least we need to seat closer to the speaker to get clearly information and we can give a lot of attention to their speech. May Allah always ease our way in learning insyaAllah.

One of all, Allah, our god is our main point and whoever muslims need to believe in Allah's nature. God is almighty. Even we can see in Al-quran, there is a lot of ayat praises the power of god.

There is 3 types of Tauhid, which is Tauhid Rububiyyah, Tauhid Uluhiyyah, Tauhid Asma' wa Sifat.

Allah, did not need place to live and did not need time to handle all his servants. Everything is in Allah's control.

Next, believe in Malaikat. Allah is Al-Mulk (The Sovereignty). Besides, Allah does not need a helper to help his work but Malaikat's creation is his sign of his power. Allah wants to create Malaikat as hid helper eventhough He doesn't need anything, not even one. His Malaikat change over time which mean on dawn time until 'asr, and 'asr until next dawn time. Malaikat is very active creation that stay around humans and note down their deeds either good or not and they will send this report to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.

Third, believe in Kalamullah which is all the kitab-kitab which has been revealed before.Al-Quran has been arranged in a perfect order, it contains the contents found in previous books and Al-Quran also a complete guide for humans.

As we know, Rasul SAW has teached his umat with full of guide about islam,solat and more. Rasulullah as a qudwah hasanah from Allah to his all mankind. That's why Allah choosed Rasulullah SAW who is a human so that he can show to the humanity about the right path. Obedience to prophet is obedience to Allah. All of anbiya' is one of the biggest evidence Allah to his creation.

Believe in HereAfter

What is hereafter? Hereafter is where our world begin to crush,explode and collide with each other. There is the end of our world and all our deeds will be counted. If a person had a lot of good deeds he will enter jannah easily, but if a person did a lot of bad deeds he will end up with enter the hellfire to erase his sins. For us, we mustly to believe in Kiamat Day which is our end of world, Allah has the power to end this world at any time. So, we always need to prepare ourselves to face infront of Allah.

Believe in Qada' and Qadar

Allah has know all of his future's creation either he will sick or dead, rich or poor and many more. We should stick with this phrase "anything happens with Allah's will" and also anything happens for a reason so don't get sad if things don't happens according to our will. Some of effects if we deeply understand in Qada' and Qadar Allah is, our heart will become more calm and we will be so grateful to Allah because all of things that happen is good in the sight of Allah.

Ihsan also relate by other things in Al-quran, we can see in surah An-Nisaa' : 36, Allah commanded us to obey to Him, do not associate to Him, do good with parents,family and other people because Allah didn't like arrogant people.

Ihsan also mentioned in hadis, the meaning of the hadisis "if you want to kill them, kill them with kindness, if you want to slaughter, slaughter them with kindness".

1.Adab with parents

In surah Maryam : 41-47, Prophet Ibrahim always use good words and polite language towards his father to preach about tauhid and islam. Eventhough he always get oppositions from his father, he never give up to treat his father with his best attitude. He also seek for his father's forgiveness,but Allah had said in Al-Quran there will be no forgiveness towars kafirin (whoever doesn't trust in Allah).

2.Adab with friends

• choose friends with good attitudes

• seek friends who bring you closer to Allah

• being loyal (keep secret)

• maintain kindness and respects

• support your friends in kind of need

• avoid talk backthings

• give good advice

• being forgiving

Moreover, all of us quite busy with a lot of assignment and presentation. This week is very hectic ;( and exhausted but I know, the important things to do is manage our time well and control our emotions. Maybe you guys had heard the phrase "better late than never" and a malay proverb "sikit sikit lama lama jadi bukit". We need to list all of our assignment and their due date so we can always alert to done it by the time.

Besides, all of the hard works need to pay off. For me, I always give myself a reward when I had finish my biggest work. It give me confident and support to myself. Why not you guys try it too? It's good for our mental health actually hehe.

This highlights the importance of acquiring knowledge (whether academic or otherwise). Once we have gained knowledge, we must strive to understand and deepen our learning. With this understanding, we can help our friends who may struggle to grasp certain concepts. Ultimately, knowledge that is used wisely—by sharing it with others—becomes beneficial to many. As a result, the goodness we spread will eventually return to us.

Allah is Most Merciful. He is our Lord, and we are His servants. Although we are commanded to obey Him in this world, the rewards will ultimately return to us—either in this life or in the Hereafter.

Ways to Improve Our Prayer and Attain Khusyu':

1. Recite Istiadzah and Surah An-Nas

   • This helps protect us from Satan’s whispers and distractions during prayer, preventing our minds from wandering to worldly concerns.

2. Minimize Movements

   • Once we raise the takbir (Allahu Akbar), our body should be in a relaxed and composed state, avoiding unnecessary movements.

3. Reflect on the Meaning of the Recitations

   • From Doa Iftitah to Tashahhud Akhir, every recitation should be understood and internalized to maintain focus and connection with Allah.

     
     

In reality, there are many ways to attain khusyu', but the challenge lies in achieving it. Khusyu' is easy to say but difficult to truly experience. However, with continuous effort and sincerity, we can improve our prayers and strengthen our connection with Allah.

Solat is the pillar of religion—if it is neglected, then the foundation of our faith will crumble. Moreover, we must strive to attain khusyu’ (devotion) in our prayers. Khusyu’ is a state where we detach ourselves from worldly matters once the takbir is proclaimed and focus solely on our prayer (our connection with Allah) until the final salam.

This sense of khusyu’ will help us continuously improve ourselves each day, as stated in the Quran:

"Indeed, prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds." (Surah Al-Ankabut, 29:45)

So, what do we gain from fasting?

1. Obedience and patience

   • By avoiding what Allah has forbidden.

2. Seeking closeness to Allah

   • Developing self-discipline.

   • Encouraging empathy.

3. Building good character.

4. Promoting social responsibility.

5. Mercy and compassion.

What is the difference between sadaqah and zakat?

Zakat has specific pillars and is meant for those in need.

Sadaqah has no fixed amount and can be given in any form.

Types of Zakat

1. Zakat Fitrah

2. Zakat Amwal

Zakat is mentioned 30 times in the Quran, including in Surah At-Tawbah, verse 103. Zakat functions to purify wealth from any doubtful (syubhah) elements.

Values of Zakat

1. Tawakkul (Trust in Allah's provision)

Example: When we give away something we love, Allah will grant us something even greater.

2. Helping the community

Example: Zakat is distributed according to specific guidelines, ensuring fairness for all.

3. Strengthening relationships (between Allah and humans)

Example: Giving zakat sincerely for the sake of Allah.

What are the effects of zakat?

Zakat can provide food for single mothers and their children.

It can also give opportunities for the poor to continue their education.

"وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا"

Those who wish to perform Hajj must be free from debt, health issues, financial difficulties, and other constraints. Hajj can only be performed in Mecca. Additionally, Hajj is the only act of worship that can be performed on behalf of someone else, whereas other forms of worship cannot be intended for others. Therefore, individuals who are ill or too elderly are exempted from performing Hajj, provided that someone else performs it on their behalf.
