Name and the Meaning

My late mom said that my name means 'the almighty' based on Asmaul Husna. Derived from Al-Aziz, and my parents slapped the feminime form of it to me. And, voila! Azizah was born!

At least that's what I believed when I was a child... my curiosity always piqued my interest as I grew older. Once, I randomly searched Google about the meaning of my name... and BAM! it felt like receiving a hard jab when the result popped out and stated that my name...

actually meant...

Esteemed. Precious. Cherished.

man, I feel like about to faint in happiness when I knew this fact, as if an arrow hits the bullseye.

But well, in reality, some people thought that I was a man instead of woman! how ridiculous is that? Lucky that it doesn't last for long as people understood that my name can sounded so boyish sometimes.

Like what people said, my name carries out prayers of my parents for me. Well, if i was being honest, either they didn't know the 'actual' meaning of my name. Or perhaps, just perhaps (my gut feeling told me to not take this so seriously), they simply went creative.

Like, way too creative...

The fact they perhaps didn't know or any other excuse, I don't blame them by the end on the day.

and I think my name sounded pretty, and beautiful. and I'll never let people told me the otherwise.

Childhood

Since I'm kinda a forgetful person, so let me tell you the most prominent events I experienced (most of them are from the days at middle school-high school since the elementary ones kinda suck in my opinion).

I might have sounded arrogant if I told you this fact. I'm the one behind the theatrical performance of The Siege and Fall of Constantinople since I saw the mainstream topics are rather dull by now. No one tries to introduce the history to the public and wrap it up in a theatrical performance.

As an alumnus of State Islamic Junior of 32, South Jakarta, I should say I was proud to introduce such idea that perhaps no one could replicate again. If there's one that managed to pull such effort, I'd like to give them a standing ovation for real.

It started from a huge meeting between 4 classes (back in the days, I was in science major and currently have 4 classes at that time). From the 7th to 9th grade, all of us gathered at the 9th grade of science program ( that I called 'aquarium'). Just imagine around 100+ students being cramped in one room for roughly 40 people... I was stuck in between the people and chairs (YES! Chairs and I'm not going to exaggerate it).

The preparation was like preparing a troop before the war itself! But, all I saw was the war between ideas between all classes...

(part 2?)
