I work at a restaurant as a waitress and i have to deal with customers who are upset and would like to make a complaint or if they wanted to talk to the chef to compliment.

A couple who came weren't happy with how their meal turned out so I said kindly to them that I would take their meals back and ask the chef to try and sort out the problem that was reported.

On my first day of college I only knew two people that I went to high school with and had to make new friends which was nerve racking for me.

I dealt with it by sitting on a table with some new girls in my class and we all starting talking and hanging out and made a couple of new friends both boys and girls.

In fitness on the induction weak we were teamed up to try and get a play pillar from one side of the room to the other without it falling on the floor in the quickest time but even though we fast we didn't make it the fastest across the room and came 2nd place

A couple of weeks ago a few people from the army came in to give us some team building tips for the future, and we had to try and lift a backpack with rope, try and get across 3 stages with two lengths of steel bars and lastly get ringed circles from one pole to the other but with certain rules

we have recently done an event where it was glow in the dark activities like football, basketball and dodgeball where we had to communicate what we needed the other players to do like get the ball or pass it to another player.

On the NCS trip I had to be blindfolded and my group had to help lead me from one location to another in order to improve team leading and team communication skills. I feel like my team did well and that I listened well in order to get them in good time. I feel like instead of one person telling me where to go that it should have been other people and not just them.

I am a store assistant at a piercing and tattooing shop called Pro Body where I help the piercer with customers and I am getting trained up to do piercings. The thing that goes well is that I get more confident in dealing with people all the time and that I can further my abilities, also that my colleagues respect me and treat me well. The downside is that some customers are extremely rude and treat me very badly and it is hard to try an stay calm when working.

I have helped my mum out at her job before helping the other workers with their paperwork and cleaning the shop up for when the lock up. what went well is that I can understand how many people it takes when running a business and how hard working they all are however some customers were adamant and rude and they were demanding a carpet there and then when someone explained it to them that they have to specifically order stock in for one project.

I helped out at an open evening at college in my first year so I could tell people who were interested in my course on what they can expect when picking the public services course. the thing that went well is that I could teach people on what I had learned in my first year at college and could talk about something I enjoyed. on the other hand it was hard because there were so many people and not enough time to talk to everyone properly and I felt like I was rushed and couldn't speak properly.

I am always on time and the only time I am late is when the bus is delayed or if something happened and I needed to deal with the problem there and then and I always let my boss or teacher know.
