I enjoyed the earlier sessions so much, with the representative from MESTEC as well as MYD. I was a little frustrated though for the following session as the session I went to were full of inputs, but I wished that the presentation could have been more directive towards what we can do as volunteers in relation to their organisations. It could have been a better session I believe as the respective organisation are already in line towards the SDGs, and I wished that this could be improved in the future. The second room I went to was very good - the presentation was clear, the slides were easy to understand and the ideas put forth were very much understandable and relatable. It is also adaptable for our own initiatives later in our place. Lastly, I enjoyed listening to the impacts and actions taken by our alumni from all countries as it proves the repercussions of YSS missions. I would like to recall significant things that I've got throughout the day. I'm so glad to meet and listen to our great speakers and grab ideas as well as boosting inspiration from them. Starting from sharing session by UNDP representative until Biji-Biji Initiative, more likely, they inspired us to become a good thinker and not doing something which not sustainable. They encouraged us to do projects that will give a significant impact on society. Aligning the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, we can make them as our guide to run any projects. As a student volunteer leader, we must think to be as an innovator by solving our community's problem. Through innovation, we can simplify complicated things and not to mention, can generate revenue towards a certain group of people. Therefore, social enterprise is the best medium for us to help lots of people in one society. Later on, during the evening session after our dinner, I'm happy to see my friends presenting their projects. This also inspires me to do any volunteering projects in the future. By doing something small or simple projects at first, and consistently, it can boost up our confidence level to go further by managing a bigger scale of our volunteering projects. Another thing is, collaboration with entire stakeholders in any project is crucial for us to make sure our project runs smoothly and gain support. That's all for today. It was fascinating to learn a lot of initiative that has been done in Malaysia that many of us did not know about it even for Malaysian itself.  SDG room sharing session open up the eyes that actually we can do more to our country that can combat from environmental issue which we can't permanently stop it but then we can help to reduce for next coming generation who is going to live in this Earth after our generation. Sad part is, some of this some initiative was not well known to many institution in Malaysia. Hope the Education Ministry can focus more on the such a movement which can benefit the youth especially by promoting them. This year VLDP theme is one of the best theme i would say because it is an alarming issue that comprise the world problems actually. All the best for the next year VLDP theme!
