Calleigh and Maria worked on the script and carefully planned out where we were going to shoot certain shots and how, as well as deciding what action would go on in each of the scenes. We decided to add little dialogue as we're not as experienced with it in editing, and because it reduces the suspense and intensity of the trailer, this is because the rush of the music already gives the trailer enough build up, having voice lines in the middle of it would interrupt the suspense. Reflection-
I think we did pretty well today because we filmed some scenes. the scene that we filmed today with risa running could be cool if we edited it right. the scene with pastor dan and lev also worked, but we did not have a white robe for pastor dan, so we used a blue one, and it worked.

Therefore, we agreed to start filming scenes excluding Connor. The first scene we filmed was the highway/bus scene with Risa. While filming this scene, we experimented with various different angles and speeds. We felt the scene should include high intensity and dimness because of the suspenseful mood we aim for, to achieve this, we kept the lighting in most of our scenes darker, and filmed different clips of Risa (Asia) running because of the idea that the unwinds are always on the run. The second scene we filmed was the tithing party, including Pastor Dan (Ethan) and Lev (Ossie), this scene required a little more experimenting as Pastor Dan's costume was difficult to recreate. We left Pastor Dan with a silk, blue robe and a white headwrap, We wanted to try our best to keep the HKA logo hidden as it definitely doesn't fit our theme as well as it not being apart of our trailer. We had to retake multiple scenes while filming this because our actors had to speak during this, we hadn't prepared them in advance with lines so we had to have them memorise it quickly before filming. Filming the action scenes were extremely entertaining. They included much more choreography and added depth to the trailer, we had made sure for many actions scenes that we had shook the camera to create an intense and chaotic effect. We ensured that no person was severely injured while filming these scenes while still keeping them as intense as they should be in the book, to achieve this, we took many different angles and filmed at many different lightings and speeds to experiment with the actors movements. We decided to redo scene 2 as we were blessed with a better camera this time that also included better audio quality for scene 1. We decided to re do scene 2 on the rooftop as Risa spent most of her time on the chop shop rooftop while at the harvest camp. In scene 1, we needed Ariana and Connor negotiating and arguing, for this, we had the actors improvise themselves to create a panic and guilty effect, with interruptions in between arguments.
