I disagree. A country has the duty and the responsibility to look out for themselves and the people in THEIR country. With being worried about protecting another country, that takes focus off of the people they have to worry about as a country, their citizens.
10.Owning lots of possessions (or a big house) is the best way
to get respect.
I again disagree. Just because you have a lot of things, expensive or not is not the way to earn anyone's respect. Respect is earned, not give. If anything it should be based off of how got there (in the house, wealthy aspect) instead of what you're showing off.
16.If someone walks away from a fight it shows he is less manly than
someone who stands up and fights.
That is not true. If anything, people should be seen as more of a man for not fighting sometimes. Physically fighting is not always the answer, and knowing that, being able to back down show a trait that is rare: maturity.

I agree with this statement to an extent. We should help our neighbors, and would want help we needed it, but in certain situations, neutrality would be a safer and wiser decision. In the past, world wars were started simply because of Allies, and The Korean War had huge casualties with no results in the end. 
8. I would fight to protect my house or apartment. 
I would not fight to protect my house if it meant endangering my life. I could always get another house, but I only have one life and one body. 
15. Real men are fighters
I disagree with this statement, this stereotypes all men. That, and there are other ways to solve problems besides fighting. Sometimes in life we need some type of motivation to push on or to learn how to stand up for ourselves. A strong person standing up for a weak person could lead to the weak person becoming a strong person. Strong people are respected and are leaders in society. The more leaders we have who are leading the way in a positive aspect the better our society will become.

Knowing the right people or getting in with the right people isn’t the best way to get respect. The best way to get respect is to stand on your perspective,morals, beliefs etcetera when everyone else is against you. Standing alone can lead to you becoming an influence on someone else and then you could become “ the right people to know to get respect” but the people also know they don’t have to agree with or be passionate about your opinion to get respect and that they are capable of standing alone.


Real men are fighters. Fighting comes in many aspects such as: fists, words, technology etcetra. Anyone who stands up for their beliefs amongst non believers is a fighter because they are fighting for their perspective. Many people can fight with their fist but few can use their words to empower and elevate others. Standing your ground is important but violence should be the last resort and communication should be the first resort.
