The Incas are very well known for their large forts and buildings, made from huge stone blocks. They didn't use any cement to hold the stones together because the workers would cut them so perfectly, so they would go together like a puzzle. While they made the roads they had also discovered the land they lived on. The Incas relied a lot on there roads for things like transportation, communication, and even goverment administration. Although they weren't the ones to invent roads, they definitely achieved in making them.
