When he was 5 his family relocated to the New Orleans area, he was raised by his mom after his parents divorced when he was 6 years old. Frank started out ghostwriting tracks for pop stars like Justin Bieber and Beyonce. But he achieved fame in 2011 when he released his mixtape called nostalgia. In 2015 he changed his name from Lonny Breaux to Frank Ocean. Frank has had an impact on his fans because he has touched hearts and helped people all across the world. Chistopher Breaux(Frank Ocean) was born in Long Beach,California then when he was around 5 years old. Him and his family moved to New Orleans, Louisiana he grew up around the local jazz scene there then at 18 years old Frank moved to LA to pursue his music career he worked at fast food and service jobs to provide for his self and then he became a songwriter . LA music is known for jazz and rock to hip-hop, electronic, and indie. LA is also known for it's Hollywood stars, the movie industries, and the nice beaches. Frank released a Tumblr post on LA he said "LA is a bubble one large bubble, after you leave you'll miss it. although you'll miss the worst things like a cigarette, a doomed bus, and an easy tiger." He says "I hold a deep affection for LA and its oppressive sunshine."
