DNA Extraction: this is the first step for GE (Genetic engeniring) and this consists on extracting the desireed trait form the animal, by a meticulous process for DNA extraction.
2.Gene cloning: when genes are extracted, the whole DNA of the prganisims. we need to use gene cloning to get the trait of interest besidesthe whole DNA.
3. Gene Design: the thord ste is, once a gene has been cloned, genetic engineers  start doing the next step. this step consists on designing the gene to work once inside a different organism. scientists do this in a test tube and what they do is tu cut the not desired gene, and put the desired gene stock in the DNA "chain" of the new organisim.
4. Transformation: this step is more siple and this basiclly consists on making the gene go on to the other cells using a variety of technics. 
this is the process by wich we want to make our humans have claws.
