If either of us were to be Governor of North Carolina our thoughts behind the death penalty is that it is a cruel punishment that is given to criminals that have committed harsh crimes. There is never a valued reasoning or excuse to kill any human being. Yet there is such thing called "An eye for an eye". This specific situation is not easy or understanding to work with.
