This poem by N0thing serves to help put an image in the past and presents experience with racism and how it's now invested into our culture as people. This poem is solely based on how we're divide ourselves amongst one another. Not by forcing it, but by choice. This poem's author represents how we separate ourselves from one another by color, race and religion. But aren't we all the same, simply human. That's the essential question represented through out the poem. It explains how we believe the world puts on this negative display against society but when in reality it's not the world that has divided us. We have no one to blame other than ourselves.

These lyrics, written by Flora Cash shows a balance between seeing part of yourself or someone else and then completely seeing/feeling like a whole other person. Its about finding the balance between how you see yourself vs how you represent yourself to others. primarily about the struggles that are propounded between the surface of yourself and the deep part inside of you, like the way you see someone and how they might seem like themselves but suddenly their whole identity has changed and you don't even know who your lookin at anymore. Or above all it could simply be fear, fear of being able to show ones true self and instead hiding behind the curtain to satisfy others wants and needs.

Lions are a representation of Strong, powerful ,brave ,leaders ,ect, except this particular painting painted by Lucie Bilodeau is meant to represent the opposite and instead represent the courage it took become the "lion". As most people see a lion as a strong leader within their pack by showing bravery and being protective, not much talk about the tactics to get there. At any point in a given time to become something it takes an amount of courage and stability to pull through. In mostly all cases you need to be driven. The lion accesses a certain amount of courage that allows it to with hold its pack and its self all together, which is what is represented within this art.

When face to face with her boss, Kevin Costner played by Al Harrison, is caught in an accusation of not doing her job, Katherine Johnson played by Taraji P. Henson decides to step up out of her comfort zone because she's had enough of the disrespect and decides to speak up about where shed real been going , which was really the bathroom. But not just any bathroom, the bathroom specifically for people of color because she wasn't allowed in the white restrooms due to the color of her skin. Lamenting to her boss about how it takes approximately 40 minutes to get to the nearest colored bathroom she manages to astonish everyone in the room with her too , as she is the only person of color in the room and was currently yelling at her white boss who was a male. Her identity is who she is, whether its any color of the rainbow she agrees that she is still human and deserves her own respect just like all the others around her.

TEDwomen in 2017 discuss a variety of stories from their childhood that ended up shaping their lives. Susan David shares a story from her childhood and explains how her silence shaped her to who she is today and how it affected her. But more importantly how she deemed and gained her own power of emotional courage through grief, silence, shame, negativity, positivity, failure, ect. She now discusses through the TEDwomen talks that Normal natural emotions are now either good or bad , no in between. And being positive has become a whole new thing with morals allowing people to stop behind so angry. Because all of this is who we are and it shapes us and allows a creation to our identity and culture. Because The more one try's to ignore it the more your emotions control your identity and who you are as well as your own personal culture.
