         <description><![CDATA[<div>Leora: I'm eager to know-  what is their favorite genre and who is their favorite actor and actress??<br><br>In this activity students will talk about different genres of movies, what they like and dislike.<br>1. Activity source: Youtube, each student found their own according to their choice of favorites<br>2.Level of students, heterogenous group from one low to one middle, to one native speaker. The variety of levels encouraged the lower level speakers to use English.<br>3,Activity description, first the students discussed the various genres of movies..Then&nbsp;<br>each student asked the next which is his/her favorite genre. The second student answered and asked the next student. At the end of the round one of the students had to repeat all of the favorites. The process was repeated with "Who is your favorite actor/actress and movie?" At the end of each round one of the students had to repeat all of the favorites. This activity requires listening, concentration and memory as well as speaking. The students had a lot of fun because they were sharing something they care about, also the genre chose by one student as a favorite could be a genre a different student hated So we had a variety of opinions. Each student showed pictures of her favorite actor/actress/film on her smartphone.<br>This process is very lively and can be used with many other topics.<br>4. Time allocation entire lesson<br>5. Communication ideas- 3, listening -3, fluency 2, accuracy- 2.<br><br></div><div><strong>3.</strong>   Time allocation- a length of a lesson. After that another lesson for presenting students' products.<br> Pre activity- <strong>Explaining the difference between the names of a country and the nationality.</strong> The teacher can make some <strong>flash cards</strong> of the countries and nationalities before the lesson. How can we help them with that? <br><br>Topic:Dates<br>Source:<a href="https://www.real-english.com/reo/8-d/unit8d.htm">https://www.real-english.com/reo/8-d/unit8d.htm</a><br> 1.In this activity students will have to practice how to say first of all the names of days of week and months. then, they will say the dates correctly, like their birth date or dates of holidays. they will have to use&nbsp; "in" and "on" (in February, on February 29th)<br>2. this activity is for lower level of students, although the average level of students may make mistakes in saying the dates, so it can be done with them too.<br>3.the students will watch the video and then will try to say their birth dates correctly.&nbsp;<br> the students will see the difference between complete &amp; partial dates (Jan.15th, March 1st, 2014).<br>4. it's enough to spend a lesson for that activity. after that another lesson foe repeating.&nbsp;<br> 5.stdents will be asked to repeat the names of months. days of weeks and to be able to say the years correctly.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
