         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p><strong>CEFR Language Proficiency level: B2</strong></p></li></ul><p><strong>Student Characteristics: </strong>There are 24 students in class. The age group ranges from 16 to 18 years old who are in secondary education (pre-university level or advanced EFL course). Students come from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Some speak multiple languages or have different levels of exposure to English outside the classroom. One student has a visual disability and requires adaptations to ensure full participation, they benefit from audio descriptions, tactile elements, or a focus on verbal engagement rather than visual aids.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>“</strong>Understanding announcements and instructions.”</p><p><strong>In this activity, students are given character cards with background information tied to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). They start at the back of the classroom and respond to a series of "Take a step forward if..." statements related to the SDGs. When the teacher announces a statement, students with characters that match the description step forward. This physical activity represents differences in access to resources, rights, and opportunities. The goal is to spark discussion on global inequalities and the SDGs.</strong></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>“</strong>Expressing a personal response to creative text" </p><p>This activity explores how music evokes different images and emotions through a series of interactive stations. Learners will rotate through three stations. In the first station, they will listen to <em>The Clapping Song</em> by Shirley Ellis and draw elements inspired by the music. Next, in the second station, they will compare their drawings in pairs or groups, discussing differences in interpretation and writing down their reflections. Finally, at the third station, they will present their findings to the teacher, receive feedback, and engage in a discussion about how music influences artistic expression.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
