In unit 1 I became an empowered learned and now I can write a proper email, be safe on the internet, and shortcuts. This all helped me throughout the whole class and gave me tools and skills to use in real life situations.

In unit 2 I learned about my digital footprint and that it can affect you in a positive or negative way. I also learned that digital images can be misleading and you need to evaluate if you trust sources. In the future this will be a useful lesson and can help me keep a positive digital footprint.

In unit 3 I learned to use the CRAAP method to determine in a website was credible. I also practiced using these techniques with the shoe buying lesson. I will be able to use this skill in the future to help me evaluate sources and not get scammed.

In unit 4 I Learned more about evaluating sources and what astroturfing is. I also learned that screens can be addicting and the consequences of spending too much time online. In the future I will be able to better the balance between my online time with my real time.

In unit 5 I learned what I think was the most valuable lesson this whole trimester, how to manage screen time. I think that this skills is the most valuable because in the future instead of mindlessly scrolling I can be more conscious about what I'm seeing. Even now I watch my screen time and If I'm on my phone I try to actively scroll and do things that will benefit me instead of just being passive and not really paying attention to what is going on.

Unit 6

In unit 6 I learned about Cyber bullying, social media, different learning tools, and being a civil communicator. I think this unit was one of the more important units because the civil communicator lesson make me realize that when I get into a disagreement sometimes they are unproductive and no one feels better after the argument and sometimes even worse. I learned that different learning tools might be better than others. I found that Quizlet has better information about orangutans than Kahoot. Overall this unit made me a more conscious person and put everything I learned this trimester together.
