The man talking went to a war with U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan in which it was not a nice place to be there was nothing a young man would like but it was just war. On a day where they were not going though any combat one of the lutinets was so bored he wanted someone to attack them to have something to do. This still makes me feel confused but I think I know what it means a little but more. I think this is just showing how agonizing war is and how violent it can get. When I was drawing it, all I could thin about was how hard this was and how many small details there was and what it means for the topic of war. I like this piece, it is very patriotic and it shows great American history of one of our great leaders. The one thing that helped me understand the piece was where were they going and why were they fighting, this just made the piece more brave and show great characteristics. This song makes me feel sad, it talks about a man that goes through a sad time in war. One lyric that stands out is "Just more blood-letting and misery and tears". The song is upbeat but the video is weird and does not give off a good feeling as the song does. The lyric "It was always burning, since the world's been turning" stands out and it really shows the meaning of the song in that lyric. Not only does this movie show the battles and hardships in war but it also shows the bothers made in war. I really enjoyed watching this movie, it was one of the best movies I have seen and I like what it shows about war and the family aspect of the war. I know what inspired the film but I am curious to know why Steven Spielberg chose this story out of all the other WW2 stories, does he have connections in the war that inspired it?
