         <title>Incorporate Diverse Literature </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Diverse Literature when we incorporate Authors from different cultural backgrounds. "Such as I Hate you " by Angie Thomas- This story is powerful about race and identity. Another could be "To Kill a Mockingbird " by Harper Lee a story that explores themes of justice and morality. of course, there are many books to search for to consider your age group of students. Some ways to add it into the classroom would be. </p><p><br/></p><ul><li><p>Thematic units- Creative specific themes like identity, resilience, or social justice. You can add a mix of authors from different backgrounds and have students explore how each author approaches the theme. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Creative projects- Assign creative projects like writing letters to a character, creating a visual resupination of a theme or can even have student's rewrite a scene from another character's perspective.</p><p> </p><p>These approaches can make it more relatable to the story's being read and can give students a more meaningful understanding.  </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Getting families involved can help them just as much as student to gain great insights about diversity. </p><ul><li><p> Having families and students get data from the community and allowing them to speak on what they feel will help bridge the gaps between the community and schools and also cultures and the different holidays being celebrated and learning how to respect the way the holidays are celebrated in both an educational setting and in the community. </p></li><li><p>Each month in corporate culture actives to learn history and encourage families to join in to help foster everyone to get better understanding of the different cultures. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

As well as building relationships with students is essential showing interest in them wanting to learn about their lives and cultures can help foster to grow a relationship.  </p><ul><li><p>Icebreakers and cultural sharing. encourage students to share something about their culture or background. </p></li><li><p>Multicultural recourses, use books videos and materials that reflect diverse cultures. </p></li><li><p>Group work and collaboration, encourage students to work in diverse groups.
