Project conclusions

114 individuals responded to the survey. More than half of those surveyed were aware of the eTwinning platform and the benefits it brings, but most students had never participated in an etwinning project.
It is clear that the students worked on recycling projects and realized their relevance in today's world and on planet Earth, thus contributing to the good of society.

The goal of our project was to develop children's creativity and imagination using recycled materials so that they can learn about art fields and express themselves. We aimed to create interdisciplinary activities with web 2.0 tools improving students' digital skills.

Aims

Children are naturally interested in their environment, nature and all living things such as insects, trees, flowers and animals. It is very enjoyable for children to spend their time in nature, to examine with curiosity the things they see and to learn about them.Therefore, it is necessary to take advantage of their interest and curiosity and ensure that children go out into nature as often as possible. Helping children understand the balance in nature, the cycle of nature and how it works, and how this functioning is disrupted by discarded garbage and waste will enable children to recycle more consciously and willingly.Preparing students for this world in line with the digital needs of our age is very important, especially in terms of developments in the IT sector, and an educational environment will be provided that will increase their creativity in this field.They will be informed about the measures taken to eliminate the environmental negativities that threaten the world, starting from the immediate environment.Awareness will be raised on this issue with events to be held in different disciplines every month.Goals such as critical thinking, creativity, problem solving at an early age, increasing the productivity and responsibility skills of society, helping children learn by trying, motivating their sense of curiosity, helping them develop language development and reasoning skills, and contributing to children's development by ensuring that they willingly participate in group activities will be achieved. By using Web 2.0 tools, more democratic learning environments, equal opportunities and permanent learning will be provided. Thus, students will be taught the use of technology and a more effective education and training method will be implemented using technology.

Expected Results

We plan to create educational materials that will increase recycling awareness with Web 2.0 and display them at the end of the project. Thus, our work will be used in all educational environments. An e-book will be prepared showing the work we have done during the project. At the end of the project, students will understand the importance of recycling for living life and gain digital literacy skills.

The goal of our project was to develop children's creativity and imagination using recycled materials so that they can learn about art fields and express themselves. We aimed to create interdisciplinary activities with web 2.0 tools improving students' digital skills.

Understanding the balance in nature (and how this function is disrupted by litter) helped children to recycle more consciously and willingly. Objectives such as information on measures to prevent and eliminate environmental negative human behaviors, awareness, critical thinking, creativity, active citizen identity by solving problems simultaneously led the children to develop the linguistic skill of a foreign language and the collective through their participation in group activities.

For this specific program, there was multifaceted collaboration in many areas and levels, such as between the students of the 3rd grade, between our students and students from other countries, and finally, between the colleagues of all the schools involved. Activities where our students collaborated in class were the text for the padlet, the creation of a logo and a poster as a proposal, the construction of piggy banks and theater puppets from waste materials, the composition of a relevant story, etc.. While with the participating schools together apart from our meeting, we made a joint poster with digital painting tools and a joint story, video with dolls made of recyclable materials and finally an ebook.

Technology and digital tools were used in an appropriate and very creative way for the benefit of all of us, especially the students. The valuable digital tools and applications such as padlet, wordart, YouTube, websites, google map, google forms (for surveys), twinspace, painting, canvas and block poster for logos and posters, story jumper for storybook, eBook. We have been particularly careful with data protection and digital security as well as copyright, for this reason we have followed the measures with actions on our part at the school.

On the official platform there are tables where the works and tasks that each teacher of each country undertakes as a coordinator are distributed and we all implement the individual activities together. In our link you can also see part of our work and actions.

The methodological approach followed in the courses is group-cooperative teaching which is an ideal framework for the activities with the ultimate goal of the student's creativity. It is about the experiential, interactive and discovery learning process.

Στόχος του έργου μας ήταν να αναπτύξουμε τη δημιουργικότητα και φαντασία των παιδιών χρησιμοποιώντας υλικά ανακύκλωσης ώστε να γνωρίσουν πεδία τέχνης και να εκφραστούν. Στοχεύσαμε στη δημιουργία διεπιστημονικών δραστηριοτήτων με εργαλεία web 2.0 βελτιώνοντας τις ψηφιακές δεξιότητες των μαθητών.

Το να κατανοήσουν την ισορροπία στη φύση (και πώς αυτή η λειτουργία διαταράσσεται από τα απορρίμματα) βοήθησε τα παιδιά να ανακυκλώνουν πιο συνειδητά και πρόθυμα. Στόχοι όπως η ενημέρωση για τα μέτρα πρόληψης και εξάλειψης των περιβαλλοντικών αρνητικών ανθρώπινων συμπεριφορών, η ευαισθητοποίηση, η κριτική σκέψη, η δημιουργικότητα, η ταυτότητα του ενεργού πολίτη με την επίλυση προβλημάτων οδήγησαν ταυτόχρονα τα παιδιά να αναπτύξουν τη γλωσσική δεξιότητα μιας ξένης γλώσσας και της συλλογικότητας μέσα από τη συμμετοχή τους σε ομαδικές δραστηριότητες.

Για το συγκεκριμένο πρόγραμμα υπήρξε πολύπλευρη συνεργασία σε πολλούς τομείς και επίπεδα, όπως μεταξύ των μαθητών της Γ’ τάξης, μεταξύ των μαθητών μας με μαθητές άλλων χωρών, και τέλος, μεταξύ των συναδέλφων όλων των εμπλεκόμενων σχολείων. Δραστηριότητες όπου συνεργάστηκαν οι μαθητές μας εντός τάξης ήταν το κείμενο για το padlet, η δημιουργία λογότυπου και αφίσας ως πρόταση, η κατασκευή κουμπαρά και κούκλων θεάτρου από άχρηστα υλικά, η σύνθεση σχετικής ιστορίας, κ.ά.. Ενώ με τα συμμετέχοντα σχολεία μαζί κάναμε εκτός από τη συνάντησή μας, μία κοινή αφίσα με ψηφιακά εργαλεία ζωγραφικής και μία κοινή ιστορία, βίντεο με κούκλες από ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά και τέλος ένα ebook.

Με πρόσφορο τρόπο και πολύ δημιουργικό χρησιμοποιήθηκε η τεχνολογία και τα εκάστοτε ψηφιακά εργαλεία προς όφελος όλων μας, και κυρίων των μαθητών/τριών. Τα πολύτιμα ψηφιακά εργαλεία και εφαρμογές όπως padlet, wordart, YouTube, ιστοσελίδες, google map, google forms (for surveys), twinspace, painting, canvas and block poster for logos and posters, story jumper for storybook, eBook. Ιδιαίτερα προσεκτικοί ήμασταν με την προστασία δεδομένων και την ψηφιακή ασφάλεια όπως και τα πνευματικά δικαιώματα, για αυτό και τηρήσαμε τα μέτρα με ενέργειες από μέρους μας στο σχολείο.

Στην επίσημη πλατφόρμα υπάρχουν οι πίνακες όπου κατανέμονται οι εργασίες και τα καθήκοντα που αναλαμβάνει κάθε εκπαιδευτικός κάθε χώρας ως συντονιστής και όλοι μαζί υλοποιούμε τις επιμέρους δραστηριότητες. Στον σύνδεσμο μας μπορείτε επίσης να δείτε μέρος από τις εργασίες και δράσεις μας.

Η μεθοδολογική προσέγγιση που ακολουθήθηκε στα μαθήματα είναι η ομαδο-συνεργατική διδασκαλία η οποία αποτελεί ιδανικό πλαίσιο για τις δραστηριότητες με απώτερο στόχο τη δημιουργικότητα του μαθητή/τριας. Πρόκειται για τη βιωματική, αλληλεπιδραστική και ανακαλυπτική διαδικασία μάθησης.

Απονομή Ευρωπαϊκής Ετικέτας Ποιότητας για το έργο Ε twinning “Recycle Hunters” στο σχολείο και τις εκπαιδευτικούς Κατερίνα Τόμτση κι Αναστασία Δέλλιου. Το project εκπονήθηκε κατά τη διάρκεια της σχολικής χρονιάς 2023-2024 σε συνεργασία με σχολεία της Τουρκίας, του Αζερμπαϊτζάν, της Ρουμανίας, Πορτογαλίας κι Ελλάδας κι έλαβε Εθνική Ετικέτα Ποιότητας από την αρμόδια επιτροπή.

Απονομή Εθνικής Ετικέτας Ποιότητας στο σχολείο μας και τις εκπαιδευτικούς Αναστασία Δέλλιου και Κατερίνα Τόμτση για την υλοποίηση του έργου Recycle Hunters κατά το προηγούμενο σχολικό έτος. Η δράση πραγματοποιήθηκε στα πλαίσια του Ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος e- twinning και περιέλαβε ποικίλες δράσεις, εργαλεία και διάχυση. Οι μαθητές της Γ τάξης ενεπλάκησαν στο έργο με θέμα την ανακύκλωση κι αλληλεπίδρασαν με μαθητές άλλων χωρών.
