         <description><![CDATA[<div>Prior the the revolution, the French people were separated to 3 classes. Clergy, Nobility, and Bourgeoise. Then he King was the most powerful person. Then people started questioning the King because of the enlightenment spreading throughout Europe. Then, because of the unfair taxation the people revolted and stormed the Bastille. That's how you got "Bastille Day ". Then after the reign of terror, Napoleon stepping. After Napoleon was banished (twice), France went back to a Monarchy.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Maximilien Robespierre</strong>- After they through over the French government, Robespierre stepped in to lead the people, and he was a very harsh person. He ended up bringing the Reign of Terror and cut off 10,000 French peoples heads. Then he got his head cut off because he wasn't a good leader (He was insane). That was the end of him.<br><strong>Napoleon Bonaparte</strong>- He was a French hero who the civilians elected to be ruler. He got all the power, and for a while he was a very good leader. He made Frances economy more stable, and came up with the Napoleonic code to get rid of the three estates. Then, he was defeated in battle multiple times, but just kept going. He started making bad decisions, then was banished, then came back, and was banished again</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>King John the 6th didn't return to Portugal after the Napoleonic Wars. he thought him being there stopped would stop people from having a revolution. Then, the United Kingdom of Portugal was made. People of Portugal were angry they were under British rule, so they rebelled, and had King John return to Portugal. When he left, he put his son in charge as King of Brazil. Prince Pedro got lots of support from the Brazil people. After finding out he could be removed he named himself emperor and Portugal and Brazil separated. Though Portugal still had troops in Brazil. When a war started, Brazil lost the first battle, then Portugal was tricked and they surrendered without even fighting. The Portuguese gave back all there land and peace was made in 1874. After Pedro's dad died, he went back to Portugal to claim the throne and left his son in charge of Brazil.</div>]]></description>
