I thought it would never make it to the U.S., then a few weeks later the first case was found in Washington state. Everyone was saying the media is making a big deal out of it. Then 2 weeks later  it’s all over the country. I think the government could have done a better job of preventing the virus from spreading. Friday April 18, Florida governor Ron DenSantis reopened the Jacksonville beach. The beach was packed and Florida got a lot of hate. I don’t think it was a good idea to open the beach, because Florid is one of the Coronavirus hot spots. Every morning I bike 3 miles. I think people in my neighborhood have bend out more everyday. I see family’s that walk together, and old people and kids outside. Today is Wednesday, April 22. Today was special because I got my favorite Superman ice cream in a 3 gallon container. I am grateful for all of the doctors, nurse and people on the front line. Who are risking their lives to save ours. The second to last day of school before the coronacation I was going to have a track meet. The coach said they athletic department was deciding if we were still going I knew we were going to a least this track meet and then this would have be last track meet ever, because I would not run in high school. The coach came back and said that we were allowed to go but the other school canceled it. I was so disappointed that I couldn’t not run for the last time. The next day it was Friday an the school sent out an email saying we get a 2 week spring break. That Friday was the last day I saw my dance friends. Our last competition was the weekend before. We only had 2 competitions this years. I had not left my house since March 13. My birthday was March 15, I had a great day even though I didn’t get to leave my house. Seeing today vs yesterday or weeks ago things have dramatically. Everyday I bike 3 miles and   1 intense hour of working out. 1 thing I want to learn how to do by the end of quarantine is to learn how to roller skate again. When I was little I would roller skate all the time. Every year during the summer I go to Michigan I spend the whole month of July, and a little of August there with my grandparents. Finding out that I may not be able to go this year was devastating. During the summer I also have this huge sleepover with my friends in Michigan. Another thing I will miss is going to Hersey Park, and have CRAZY water ballon fights with my neighbors. Every morning I start to see more and more people going outside for a walk or bike. One craving that I have missed is Chick-FilA.
