Likewise, I think sperm banks should conduct background checks and a very thorough research into the donor's medical history so that the parents know exactly what they are getting. There should be lawsuits and major recourses if there is any issue that is it at the fault of the doctor or sperm bank. I don't like using the term of wrongful birth but can understand why someone can use that phrase.

I think that of course the parents should know what they are walking into when they get a sperm donor. However, I don't think that wrongful birth should be used at any time because even though the parents may not have known everything about their child before they had it.
