Today I played Andrews game the entertainment level was about 7/10 because he had special things like short cuts and flash cards to make the game more interesting by probably taking out the rule that when you land on a odd decimal you move back one I think that rule spoiled the game. Also his game board could be neater and have less mistakes on the numbers on the board because they weren't the clearest writing that I have seen. Another thing is that there were so many rules that were not on the rules board. So it made everything confusing and didn't make sense.

I think that his game was very relative and involved a lot of skills in mental maths and had lots of good but very different features like a card holder for the small flash cards to be put into. Also he had features that he should probably in my opinion take out like the shortcuts and the decimal odd rule which I did not like to much. Also I thought that his shortcut was sorts of corrupt due to how close it was to the start line and it would be unfair on the other persons chances.

The clarity of the rules weren't so great he had 5 rules in the written version. But he had so many rules in his head that I thought that he would go on forever but he finished in the end

I think that this game was very good in learning about decimalsbecause he had flash cards and you had to learn about all of the decimals were either odd or even.

By Zal sen

Game review by Christian Labagnara

This game in my eyes was very creative. In terms of entertainment, it was moderately entertaining. I liked the idea of a tsunami coming your way and you have to roll the die to get a number to move your chess piece the number rolled until you get to the safe zone where you win and finish. I think the game was very creative as the blacked out squares represent buildings in the city that are going to be struck by the tsunami. The rules were somewhat clear, there were a few spots where I was a bit stuck on the rules though. The implementation of decimals in the game I felt was very little. I actually saw no evidence of decimals in the came. The dice was just a normal 6 sided die with whole numbers 1-6. Overall I liked the game, but lacked the use of decimals throughout.

Game Review by Harrison Pourounidis & Sarkis Sassine

This game was very creative, and used very logical decimal parts of the game. Christian has displayed wonderfully how decimals work.
We believe that he has based his cards on monopoly. It was mostly fun but at the start it lacked of entertainment. Besides that Christian's game was entertaining and exciting even though he did it with the Boogie Man

Today when we played Zachary, Joseph and Josh D's board game and we think that out of 10 it was 6.5/10. The creativity wasn't really good because there was also a real game very similar to theirs and they basically copied it.
The clarity of the rules weren't too good and some of the questions were too hard for some of the kids in the class. It might've been a bit hard to learn some of the stuff in the games because as we said there are some questions that are quite hard and they might struggle with them and not be able to answer them.

Extra things:we think they need to improve on things like having an original idea and maybe adding more property's and a bit less question squares because every square almost was a question square.

The game was very creative but I think they didn't think of all of it because they copied a bit.

3. We didn't need to read the rules because it was strait forward.

The game was definatly to decimals because if you landed on a square you had to pick a card and solve the problem on it

I think the creativity of the game is excellent their rules were well made and were very clear . The relevance to decimals is very high and I rate the game highly .
By Vince Hoang and pig / Lachlan Hume

He said he got inspiration from Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh and LOL. I liked how he made is own cards. It was really entertaining I would give it a 9/10. The rules were pretty clear I liked how he gave an exampl of what happened if you got hit with an attack. It gave us a really good idea on decimals and overall it was an amazing game and i would by it for any price.

1. Marcus' game was sort of fun but was annoying when I landed on Space Mash (go back to the start).
2. It was creative in the fact that the board went in a clockwise direction.
3. The rules was complicated because the fact that he didn't explain what Junk Dump means and that there were a lot rules that didn't make sense.
4. I don't think that the game had anything to do with decimals except the fact that the numbers were decimals.

What an amazing game it was with creative abilties and questions and interesting landmarks for movement. The questions were amazing of converting fractions to decimals it was well made with interesting landmarks and tokens I liked the abilties it made the game more interesting with it was like Mari kart where you could use items which I liked a lot.
I think could have put in a bit more challenging landmarks and for an idea for one I think they should put a landmarks where a player lose their ability I would really like it to make it challenging. The rules where very simple but a bit confusing with the moving numbers but I understand in the game. They did well on converting decimals as their teaching of decimals which was helpful for me cause I didn't know how to convert 3\4 but their answer made sense for me. Overall this game was amazing with fun landmarks and abilties I give it 7\10.
-Aiden Tran.
